Games and gaming accessories for gamers, by gamers~!
Doing what we do, because we enjoy it. Creatively building and designing products for fun is our passion. Getting older doesn’t mean we have to feel old. Losing focus on fun can do that – so… we’re doing it because it keeps us happy and feeling young. And if it brings you happiness, it’s a WIN-WIN~!
Jay Sterling: He’s (mostly) in charge.
He’s great on design, not so much on organization
What’s it all about, and how did it all begin…
Well, there’s a story to everything, and this is no different. However, we’ll create that page at a later date: Because right now, we’re prepping for TWIN CITIES CON, and we’ve got more pressing matters to attend to.
So if you’ve reached this page because you found us at TCC, please check back later. The webpage is a template, and I’ll update as things progress and time allows. (So, I reckon we’ll finish it at a later date.)
Until then, it’s easiest to stay in contact via email us at: TCC[at]Sterling-Games.com. We’ll try to get this running soon after (although we’re now entering the Holiday season) Just write in the body of the email that you’d like to be updated regarding the latest information.

UPDATE: 11-NOV-2025
Howdy, folks~!
Jay Sterling here with my first post-con update. To start: I wanna officially say thanx for a wonderful TCC experience. It’s the convention’s 5th year – and my 4th. Major shout out to the wonderful staff at Twin Cities Con, and everyone that came to visit. I was only able to give partial answers to some of the questions, so I’d like to address them now…
#1) COMEDY: I didn’t perform at TCC this year. Thanx to all who swung by to inquire, compliment, chat. Your words were encouraging, kind and exceptionally appreciated~! 🧡 (At this point, I don’t know what next year will bring.)
#2) CRIBBAGE BOARDS: The designs are coming along nicely~! I’ve finished the 1701-TOS design this weekend, and I’ve made notes on some new ideas. I plan to start the final TOS version this week (day job and personal life willing). I’ve also got plenty of notes on new ideas/designs, that I believe are really exciting~!!

UPDATE: 1-JAN-2026
🎉Happy New year…
I made the TOS board shortly after my last update, and IMHO…it looks SWEET~! 😁🖖🏼
However, production has been halted due to a combination of holidays and a ‘remodeling’ of the shop. Technically, the shop remodel started as a 5s project inspired/instigated by a couple friends. However, due to the organic growth that transformed my 2-car garage into a woodshop, it’s really more of a cleaning purge and reorganization. The stockpile of materials, tools and equipment that have built up over the years are scattered and piled around haphazardly. I reckon OSHA would’ve had a frenzy citing me with violations. Think layers of dust on some things, buckets of nails and paint cans that came with the house (26yrs ago), concept creations I had completely forgotten about; things I made over 30 years ago~! Finding things during this process is cathartic, humbling, and astonishing. Another cleaning session is tentatively planned for the end of January. It’s lot to unclutter, and I reckon a set of ‘before-and-after’ pictures would probably be labeled as an ‘AI’ creation. (LOL)
We’ll see what comes next…

UPDATE: 2-APR-2026
So I sez to the guy, I sez…
It’s been a quirky-busy couple of months…so many things have happened that kept me out of the shop, all I can say is that I apologize to those who are waiting on orders. And honestly, I’m too disorientated to recall most of it, and what I do remember, isn’t in sequential order. No – it wasn’t akin to an action-adventure film…more like the movie Kafka blended into a daytime soap opera. 🤷♂️
But I digress…
Anyhooo….
#1) I’ve branched out into other ‘gaming paraphernalia’. I hope to have some inventory and images before the summer is over.
#2) I’m designing two Millennium Falcon cribbage boards. One is entirely 3D, the other, I’m drawing out the deck plates as I’ve done with all the others.
#3) I volunteered at a convention last month called MarsCon(a fun convention run by some wonderful people – check it out~!), and I found out three weeks before the convention that Robert O’Reilly would be attending~! For those that don’t know, he portrayed the Klingon Gowron on Star Trek. I’ve had a few requests to design a Klingon Cribbage board, since this seemed the perfect opportunity, design one I did~! Naturally, when I was about 85% complete, I realized a modification that would make it near PERFECT. (Something we all do, right?) However, knowing what I had for time constraints (risk management is a wonderful skill when it works), I pressed on. And I’m totally groovy with how it turned out~! There was no prototype, no mock up, no demo…I had no time. So, I made the board, and what I got was it. How did it turn out? Before I tell you, let me preface by saying that Don Shelby once told me; “We Minnesotans are not know for being self-congratulatory.” And yes, he’s correct, so obviously I won’t dislocate my shoulder when I give my self a pat on the back. However, I will look in the mirror and shout Qapla’~!
So, whaddya think? Is it Groovy enough? Robert definitely seemed to think so…
His rationale for signing it in that location is to make room for John Hertzer (Martok)
